The Saturday of the 13th day of Serie B ended with the external success of Sampdoria, which won 2-0 in Modena thanks to the goals of Sebastiano Esposito in the first half, and Kasami in the second half.
Four other matches were staged at 2 p.m.: outside victories for Como and Pisa, which beat Ascoli (1-0) and Sudtirol (2-1) respectively; Cosenza’s home win (2-0 at Reggiana) and a pyrotechnic 3-3 draw between Bari and Feralpisalò.
Como è needed only a goal from Cutrone to conquer the field of Ascoli, while Valoti, author of a brace, dragged Pisa to victory over Sudtirol, which halved the disadvantage with Pecorino. Goals by Voca, in the first half, and Tutino, in the second half, gave Cosenza the three points. Finally in Salò è everything happened: Bari went 2-0 up with Nasti and Sibilli, Feralpisalò came back thanks to Di Cesare's own goal and goals by Zennaro and Sau, then Achik signed the final 3-3.
In the standings, Modena remains fourth ahead of Como, fifth, and Cosenza, eighth, which entered the playoff zone, with Bari, Pisa and Sudtirol just outside, in ninth, tenth and eleventh places, respectively. Samp è exited the playout zone, in 15th place, ahead of Ascoli, 16th. Reggiana stopped in thirteenth position, Feralpisalò è climbed to the penultimate place.
