The Old Boss says no.

Bernie Ecclestone is rejecting the Las Vegas Grand Prix, even before it is held. The'former Formula 1 Boss has been outspoken about it, explaining the reasons why the night race on Nevada roads do not represent a date he likes.

"I am happy that Formula 1 continues to develop in every corner of the world. The one who brought it out of Europe was me,” Ecclestone reminded the Dutch of 'NOS' -It is still a world championship, and not a European championship. Good that it continues to be that way. That said, I am not at all looking forward to the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Becauseé that with Formula 1 has nothing to do".

Incidentally, it's interesting to note that the very first time Formula 1 raced in Las Vegas was in 1981, when it was hosted at a track carved out of the Caesar's Palace parking lot. And on that occasion, despite finishing only fourth at the line, Nelson Piquet won his first drivers world championship. At the wheel of a Brabham, whose owner was Ecclestone himself.
