Pallacanestro Cantù officially presented to the press its latest acquisition: Riccardo Moraschini, who signed a three-year contract with the Brianza club. The conference, held in the morning in the Trophy Room of the club’s headquarters, was also attended by president Roberto Allievi and general manager Alessandro Santoro.
Welcoming the new player è was the president, Roberto Allievi: "Today for Pallacanestro Cantù è a very happy day, although I want to specify that I am very happy with the team and how it è behaved in this start of the season, it has brought home important results, is playing well and has this characteristic that we like a lot: being united and working together, all one for the other. The graft of Riccardo Moraschini goes precisely in this perspective, it strengthens the team on the court but also for his human characteristics, which we never underestimate and also for this reason we wanted to commit to a contract with him in a multi-year investment".
"I am very happy, there’è it took a few weeks before making this decision becauseé when I make a decision I do it because I believe in it 100% and that is precisely why today I am very happy to be here – Moraschini stressed -. Yesterday I watched the game and I saw a very solid and united team, with great desire to play together and availability’one towards the other. For me tomorrow, with the first training session, è day 1 here in Cantù and my only goal è to help this team reach an important goal, which the societyà has been trying to achieve in the last few years".
