F1, Fernando Alonso explains the pitfalls of Las Vegas
Fernando Alonso at a press conference explained the pitfalls of the Las Vegas track: "u a street circuit, with very low downforce, we will need to get familiar with the car and the braking areas. Given the track conditions and the’absence of support races, the’evolution of the track over the weekend will be greater than normal. So it’ll be a challenge for everyone: no two laps will be the same over the weekend".
"With this long straight the tires will lose some’ temperature. In the last three GPs we had problems with overheating, while here maybe è the opposite. Some cars that struggle on the long run pace, maybe here they will do well because theyé manage to keep the tires in the window. Tomorrow we will have some answers".
On the atmosphere: "It will be" different because" every time we came here in the past, I think for everyone, è it was for vacation and to enjoy the city". Now instead we are here to compete. Tomorrow things will get a little bit more professional and serious but, at the same time, we want to have fun this weekend. Both championships, driver and manufacturer, ended a few races ago, so now it’s everyone’s turn to enjoy this final part of the season".
