Czech Republic and Slovenia also qualified, England still undefeated
Two other qualifiers in addition to the Azzurri.
Not only Italy: at Euro 2024, together with Luciano Spalletti’s Azzurri who were protagonists of a very painful 0-0 draw in Leverkusen against Ukraine, on Monday of the continental qualifiers, two other national teams detached the pass: the Czech Republic and Slovenia.

Home victory also for Slovenia, which in Ljubljana forced Kazakhstan to 2-1: Sesko’s penalty and Verbic’s goal in the final after Orazov’s momentary equalizer were decisive.
On the other fields è of note was England’s draw in North Macedonia, with the Three Lions selection maintaining its unbeaten streak in 2023: it ended 1-1, with Bardhi’s goal for the hosts and then Atanasov’s own goal propelled by Kane in the second half. In between, a goal disallowed to Grealish for offside. Albania and the Faroe Islands also draw (0-0), while Denmark falls to Northern Ireland (2-0 with signatures by Price and Charles). San Marino scores again, but loses at home to Finland: it ends 2-1, with Berardi responding on a penalty kick as time expired to Soiri’s double.
