Davis Cup finals, here is when Jannik Sinner's Italy plays
Yesterday in Malaga opened the Davis Cup finals week with the first quarterfinal, which saw Finland’s resounding victory over defending champion Canada, and today there will be, starting at 4 p.m., the second quarterfinal between the Czech Republic and Australia.
But when does Italy, captained by Filippo Volandri and featuring Jannik Sinner as its star player, play? The Azzurri will take the court at the Palacio de Deportes José María Martín Carpena tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. against the Netherlands, followed by the final quarterfinal between Novak Djokovic’s Serbia and Great Britain.
Should they win with the Dutch, as we all hope, the Azzurri would face the very winner of Serbia-Great Britain on Saturday at 12 p.m. in the second semifinal, while Finland is waiting to find out who it will have to meet on Friday at 4 p.m. between the Czech Republic and Australia. The final, on the other hand, will be played on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Italy's matches in the 2023 Davis Cup finals will be broadcast live free-to-air on Rai channels and streamed on Raiplay. All matches of the world's oldest tennis tournament for nations will also be available live for subscribers on Sky Sports and streamed on NOW and SuperTenniX.
