Serbian feels ready to continue winning
Djokovic just won the ATP Finals for the seventh time in his career (an all-time record) and è focused on the Davis Cup but, on an individual level, he has other plans. Besides staying at the top of world tennis, è he is interested in a record.
"Goal? Probably the record for the most titles. I want to win as many tournaments as possible and surpass Connors. There are always records on the’horizon that can be broken. To win important trophies, I have to keep the level of intensity, dedication and motivation", the Serb's words in an interview with Marca.
Connors won an impressive 109 career titles. Djokovic, at the moment, è at 98. The feeling è that even this record is within the reach of Djokovic who, despite being 36 years old, still seems to be in top form, both physically and mentally. Meanwhile, he will try è to win the Davis Cup in Serbia’s jersey.
