F1 Gp Abu Dhabi: Verstappen closes as dominator, excellent Leclerc

Max Verstappen ended the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship as a dominator. The Red Bull driver won the final Grand Prix of the season in Abu Dhabi, taking the 19th race of the year. The Dutchman completed more than 1,000 laps leading a Gp in this stradominated season.

On the podium with him are Charles Leclerc of Ferrari, second, and George Russell of Mercedes, third. Red Bull's other driver Sergio Perez finished second but è was penalized five seconds, thus dropping to fourth place.

In the top 10 also Lando Norris, Piastri, Alonso, Tsunoda, only ninth Lewis Hamilton. Mercedes manages in any case to maintain second position in the Constructors’ Championship at the expense of Ferrari, given also the withdrawal of Carlos Sainz.
