Gregorio Paltrinieri flies to Paris 2024 Olympics
Gregorio Paltrinieri will participate in his fourth Olympics. The Emilian swimmer qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games thanks to his victory in the 1500 freestyle at the Winter Olympics in Riccione.
The Italian recorded a time of 14'41"38, almost 3 seconds short of the chrono required by the Italian Swimming Federation to qualify for the Olympics. Greg finished ahead of youngsters Luca De Tullio, 2° in 14'57.99, and Matteo Diodato, 3° in 15'07.41.
"I worked a lot in these months and with a different mentality – said the swimmer from Carpi on the heat -. I came out very burned by what happened in Fukuoka, where I did not è come out my real.
