Nine contests were played on NBA night. The Milwaukee Bucks, after the elimination suffered in the NBA Cup at the hands of Indiana, manage to take revenge by overwhelming the Pacers with a net 140-126, dragged by a monstrous Giannis Antetokounmpo author of 64 points (career-high) and 14 rebounds. Bitter debut, however, for the Phoenix Suns’ Big 3 (Booker, Durant and Beal), who were narrowly defeated by Brooklyn (116-112).
Regaining success are the Lakers, who s'impose themselves on San Antonio (122-119) thanks to 37 points from Anthony Davis. In the Texans’ ranks, Victor Wembanyama’s 30 points and 13 rebounds were not enough. Triumph also for Philadelphia, which, thanks to Joel Embiid’s 41 points, inflicted its 21st consecutive knockout on Detroit (129-111). A narrow victory also for Utah over New York (117-113). In the ranks of the Jazz, another start in the quintet for Simone Fontecchio, author of 15 points in 31 minutes.
In the night’s other contests, Houston beat Memphis (117-104), Miami defeated Charlotte (115-104), Toronto s'imposed itself on Atlanta (135-128) and New Orleans, without Zion Williamson, overcame Washington (142-122).
