Eight Italian women will take part on Thursday, Dec. 21 in Courchevel in the fourth women’s slalom of the World Cup season (first run at 5:45 p.m., second at 8:45 p.m., live on Raisport and Eurosport television). They are Martina Peterlini, Marta Rossetti, Anita Gulli, Lara Della Mea, Beatrice Sola, Emilia Mondinelli, Vera Tschurtschenthaler and Lucrezia Lorenzi.
It's the fifth time in history that they have competed on the French slope, the roll of honor records three triumphs by Marlies Schild (2010, 2011 and 2013) and one by Mikaela Shiffrin in 2018.The Italian team aims to add to the good placings achieved in this first part of the season, which saw Rossetti finish as high as fifth in Killington, Martina Peterlini place 12th and 17th in Levi and Della Mea finish 15th in Killington.
