Ferrari, Carlos Sainz unveils his goal
During an event sponsored by Estrella Galicia, Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz è returned to talk about his future with the Maranello stable, as his contract will expire at the end of the 2024 season. Ahead of the winter break, the Spaniard wanted to make known what è his main goal ahead of the next championship.
"As Frederic Vasseur said, there have been talks. My goal è to start the 2024 season already knowing where I will race in 2025. My priority è is to renew with Ferrari and continue together for many more years. We are both happy and we have three months before the next race to finalize the agreement" began the Spanish driver.
"I don't give too much credit to the rumors put out by journalists. I want to renew and when I do I like to find a multi-year understanding. I feel perfectly appreciated by Fred and the whole Ferrari family, so è it is only a matter of time before we find the final white smoke" added the Ferrarista number 55.
"The Monza battle with Red Bull changed little within the team, Ferrari knows what I am capable of, they have my data. I think it was more of a message to the fans, where I gave everything to keep the car ahead of Red Bull in the early laps. I hope it changed my status with them, being then on the podium" Carlos Sainz commented.
