Inter, Lautaro injury: another 24 hours to wait for verdict
We will have to wait until tomorrow to know the outcome of the instrumental examinations that Inter bomber and captain Lautaro Martinez, victim of an adductor strain during the Coppa Italia match lost 2-1 to Bologna, will undergo.
The verdict was expected to come today and instead we have to wait again, which suggests that the situation is rather complicated and the Argentine striker’s condition is further to be monitored. Lautaro therefore è strongly at risk for Saturday’s home match against Lecce.
When he è left the field during extra time, Toro è was immediately bandaged by the Nerazzurri technical staff before hiding under the blanket, and left San Siro limping: a scene that cannot è not cause concern.
Should Lautaro miss Saturday’s game, the goal è to recover him for the match against Genoa, at the Ferraris on Dec. 29. All that remains is to wait until tomorrow to know what è the èextent’of the injury to the gunner who is contributing in a fundamental way, together with his attacking partner Marcus Thuram, to Inter’s top ranking.
