Sanremo: no Jannik Sinner, luxury replacement for Amadeus official
No stage at the Ariston for the great champion, but in his place comes a top-notch replacement.
Jannik Sinner in Sanremo will not be there, but it's official that a top-level VIP will take the stage at the Ariston in place of the Australian Open 2024 winner. In fact, Amadeus announced the presence at the kermesse of an international film legend John Travolta.
Amadeus spoke about it during a foray on TG1, the place deputed to announcements about the Sanremo Festival in these weeks. The actor, who will celebrate his 70th birthday in February, will be a guest at the song festival on Wednesday, February 7, that is, during the second evening of the event. "È an actor who made entire generations dance", said the host and artistic director of the Festival about him. For the star of, among others, 'Saturday Night Fever', 'Grease' and 'Pulp Fiction' it will be the second participation after the one in 2006.
John Travolta will try to make Sanremo fans forget the absence of Jannik Sinner, who had justified his "no" to Amadeus's invitation with these words during a press conference at the new headquarters of the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation: "I look forward, Australia è over. During San Remo I will beò already working".
