Yamaha: Fabio Quartararo aims high, Alex Rins paws

Presentation day at Yamaha. The Japanese team, in fact, unveiled the new livery of the M1 that Fabio Quartararo and newcomer Alex Rins will ride in the 2024 MotoGP World Championship. The color scheme of the Yamaha M1, the box, the riders’ skins and the team's clothing remained unchanged. The most noticeable changes were the livery with some new sponsors and Yamaha's updates on the personnel and organization front.

"The start of the new season è always exciting,” Quartararo admitted to the team’s official channels! Everyone is starting from scratch again and I know that both the team and I are very motivated to work as hard as possible during the Sepang tests. A good start to the 2024 season – even if it’s just preseason testing – canò translate into a big advantage later".

"So, as always, we will give our best in every day, every session, every ride and every lap. I know Yamaha is working hard behind the scenes, so I think if we keep pushing ourselves to the limit in all aspects, we will be able to have a great year together. I want to fight in front of everyone and greet my fans from the top step of the podium!" concluded the French rider.

"I have already had a first taste of the M1 working with the Yamaha team at the Valencia Test and Shakedown Test – Rins words -, but today's event to launch the MEYM 2024 season makes me feel excited again as if it was the first day. We had a good first lap in the Valencia test, so I am very satisfied and look forward to continuing the work here in Sepang tomorrow".

" I have many things to try, but I feel confident. The bike seems easy to adapt to, so I think I will be able to make further progress in the Sepang test. I’ve been working a lot on my fitness to get here at the best possible level, and now I just want to start riding again!" the Spanish centaur commented.
