Atalanta, Luis Muriel packs his bags and leaves for Orlando
The Colombian striker will earn three million a season for three years

After four and a half seasons in which he delighted with genuine magic (68 total goals), Muriel è is ready to move to MLS, the tournament where Messi plays. Pareja, coach of Orlando City, a Colombian like Muriel, convinced him to leave Italian soccer and, at almost 33 years old, get back into the game in a league where he could still make a difference to the tune of great plays.
Clearly, the economic aspect matters a lot. The contract with Orlando è the kind you can't say no to, especially if you're running toward 33 springs. We are talking about a three-season deal, at a whopping three million euros net per year (more than he receives at Atalanta). As if that were not enough, he goes to live in Orlando, not exactly one of the worst cities in the United States.
Atalanta will settle for one million in compensation but, with Muriel's farewell, Gasperini will have the chance to give more minutes to Touré who, so far, has è been seen very little (due also to injury). Arrived in the summer from Almeria for 31 million euros, the 22-year-old striker of the Malian national team could be an important asset in this final phase of the Nerazzurri season.
