NBA: Steph Curry’s magic, Golden State thanks
Fontecchio scores 20 points in first with Detroit
So many NBA regular season contests played in the night. Incredible what happened in the challenge between Golden State and Phoenix. At the last breath, Curry put up a triple from 10 meters that won the victory for the Warriors (113-112). Curry finished with an impressive 30 points (nine triples), nine rebounds and also six assists. On the other side, Durant's 24 points were not enough.
Definitely positive debut for Fontecchio in the new Detroit jersey. The former Utah started from the bench but still scored 20 points (with 19 shots) in the challenge, unfortunately lost, against the LA Clippers (112-106 the final). Another win for Cleveland: 119-95 against Toronto (ninth consecutive win for the Cavs). Brooklyn scrambles San Antonio: 123-103 the final.
After losing the last four games, Philadelphia returns to winning ways: 119-113 against Washington (28 points by Maxey). After an overtime, Orlando knocks off Chicago (114-108, 36 points by Wagner). New York falls, beaten by Indiana (125-111). Knicks all-star Brunson's 39 points were not enough. Charlotte also did well: 115-106 over Memphis. Badly Houston, beaten by Atlanta (122-113).
