The former Juventus starts again from the amateurs: è official

Cuoiopelli, a team playing in the Tuscan Eccellenza league, has made official the purchase of Federico Mattiello: "Federico Mattiello, class '95. A former Serie A fullback with Juventus, Chievo, Bologna, Cagliari and SPAL. Last season he played in the Dutch top league with Go Ahead Eagles. Welcome to biancorosso Federico".

The player è a product of the Juventus youth academy: as a boy he played on loan at Chievo and SPAL before being sold for 5 million euros to Atalanta in 2018. With the Orobici, things did not go well and the player continued on loan: è returned to Spal, then Bologna, Cagliari, Spezia and Alessandria before being released in 2022. 

Between September 2022 and May 2023, he played in the Netherlands with the Go Ahead Eagles and has now decided to start again from the amateurs.
