MotoGp, Ducati: Gino Borsoi gets out of line on Jorge Martin’s ambitions
Gino Borsoi boosts Jorge Martin’s rainbow ambitions
The dream of "toppling" Pecco Bagnaia and the official Ducati team in 2023 è vanished at the last assault but Jorge Martin and the entire Pramac Racing team are confident they can try again in the season that will start on the second weekend of March in Qatar. Confirming the rainbow ambitions of Martin himself è Gino Borsoi, team manager of Pramac Racing.
"The new bike è a big step forward – explained Borsoi to the official MotoGp channels -. Jorge è really believes that the improvement is evident compared to 2023. There’è still something to try but we already have a good base. There’è been a nice improvement from the point of view of the character of the bike, especially as far as the engine".
On the rider himself, Borsoi has little doubt: "Jorge è quite happy with how he can ride the new bike. We need time to fix everything and find something better but we are already; faster than we were in 2023. This is a very positive situation for us, becauseé we do not have to think much about modifying the bike being already better in terms of performance".
With the new bike, then, Borsoi is counting on Martin to remain at the top of MotoGp and perhaps do even better than last year. That of 2023 è has so far been the best season in the premier class for the 1998-class rider, Moto3 world champion in 2018 and, for that matter, runner-up in MotoGp last year.
