F1, Christian Horner è eager to see Lewis Hamilton in Ferrari
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner, despite experiencing days that are anything but easy due to the team’s internal investigation for alleged unseemly behavior, commented on Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari, which has already been announced but will only happen in 2025.
Horner è he, too, was surprised but not entirely by this incredible market coup made by the Maranello-based manufacturer and è is very anxious to see what the six-time world champion will be able to do behind the wheel of a Prancing Horse car and with a teammate who is anything but surrendering like Charles Leclerc by his side. Here are Horner’s words as reported by formulapassion.co.uk.
“Surprised? Yes and no. I suppose sì because of the timing, not the change. È difficult for us to judge whether this change benefits Red Bull. È an unusual time for the ’announcement. Lewis is not afraid to make bold decisions, as he did previously by moving from Mclaren to Mercedes“.
“Obviously Lewis saw something in Ferrari that he feels it is the best place for his future. I think it is great for Formula 1 to have a Hamilton-Ferrari combination. È a shame we have to wait until 2025″.
