F1, testing begins in Bahrain
Just a few more hours and Formula 1 2024 will turn on its engines for the first time on the track. From tomorrow Wednesday, Wednesdayì 21 to Friday, February 23 will be staged in Bahrain the official tests ahead of the upcoming season with to all the single-seaters of the ten teams.
It will be the first opportunity to see at work drivers and teams that will play for the 2024 world title, starting with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 2. Due to the one car available, drivers will have to take turns behind the wheel for a total of 12 hours of driving each out of the 24 in total.
Ferrari in day-1 will field Charles Leclerc at the wheel of the SF-24 in the morning session that will take place from 08:00 to 12:00 (Italian time). After the lunch break, on the other hand, it will be Carlos Sainz who will take the wheel in the round that will start at 13:00 and end at 17:00.
Red Bull, on the other hand, has decided to field Max Verstappen for the entire first day of testing. The three-time world champion, then, will complete his shifts on Thursday afternoon while Sergio Perez will have the entire day on Friday.
