Indian Wells, the draw: Jannik Sinner on the side of Carlos Alcaraz
Djokovic on the other side of the scoreboard with bogeyman Medvedev
This is it. Indian Wells è is just around the corner. Sinner is aiming for a great tournament that, if all goes well, could even lead him to become the new No. 2 in world tennis. First there's a long way to go. The draw for the draw for the first Masters 1000 in California has "shown" the way for the Blue. It won't be a walk in the park.
Sinner will debut in the tournament in the second round, facing one of Giron or Kokkinaikis. Then, on his trajectory, he could face not easy opponents such as Struff, Shelton and, in the quarterfinals, the "usual" Rublev, an unpredictable tennis player. Then, in the semifinals, the possible, yet another confrontation with Alcaraz with, perhaps, the second place in the world ranking at stake. A challenge that everyone hopes for.
Meanwhile, Djokovic è ended up on the other side of the scoreboard. In the semifinals he may have to face Medvedev, an opponent capable of challenging anyone if in 100% physical and mental condition. Also worth highlighting is Nadal's debut. Absent from the courts since Brisbane (but starring in the exhibition match in Las Vegas against Alcaraz), he will make his Indian Wells debut against the hostile Raonic. Should he win, then he would have Rune on his way.
