Fernando Alonso fastest in second free practice in Jeddah, Charles Leclerc fourth

Fernando Alonso won the second free practice session of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. On the Jeddah circuit, the Spanish driver set the best time, stopping the clock on 1'28'827, the only one to go under the wall of 1'29. The Asturian's Aston Martina was ahead of George Russel’s Mercedes, more than two tenths behind, and Max Verstappen’s Red Bull s Red Bull, third.
In fourth is the Ferrari with Charles Leclerc, while closing out the top 5 is the other Red Bull of Sergio Perez, in fifth. In sixth place is the other Aston Martin of Lance Stroll, while the other Red Bull of Carlos Sainz, still debilitated by the ailment suffered on Wednesday, placed seventh.
Closing out the top 10 are the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton, eighth, the Alpine of Pierre Gasly, in ninth, and the McLaren of Oscar Piastri, in 10th place.
