Problems at Ferrari, Brembo provides clarity

In Bahrain, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz had problems with the braking system of their Ferraris. Brembo, their development and supply partner, issued a statement to shed light on the incident, already projecting on the next Grand Prix.

“With reference to what happened during Saturday’s race in Bahrain, we confirm that this is a new situation that occurred during the race and was not encountered either during testing or during the preliminary activity prior to the start of the championship. The analysis carried out by engineers after the Bahrain GP did not reveal any particular anomalies on the components of the’braking system”.

“Ferrari and Brembo are working together to fully clarify the technical picture; in the meantime, the supplier supports the team as always, agreeing on solutions to remedy the problem encountered during the Bahrain race", ends the note.
