Ferrari, Oliver Bearman: "I messed up…"

It's a fairytale Friday for Oliver Bearman, who in just a few hours found himself catapulted into Formula 1, driving a Ferrari, at the cause of Carlos Sainz's forced forfeit due to appendicitis. The 18-year-old Englishman confessed his excitement after official qualifying, which saw him finish with the 11th time: "I woke up this morning and expected to take part in the Formula 2 race. Instead I will start in Formula 1 and I will do it from the 11th place…".

Bearman is not è perè happy with his performance: " The goal would be to finish in the top ten in the race, I made some mistakes during qualifying. I am not so happy because è I was close to Q3, I remain disappointed because of a session that was a little bit bungled". 

"I made a few mistakes that ultimately penalized me. I still want to try to go for points, improving and reaching this goal that would be very nice for me", concluded Bearman, who wants to make the most of the opportunity to show off.
