Goals and spectacle at Marassi: Monza knocks out Genoa and flies to 10th place

It's a seesaw of emotions the challenge between Genoa and Monza valid for the 28th day of Serie A. The Brianzoli, after ending the first half ahead by two goals, suffered the comeback of the hosts in the second half. In the final, però, the biancorossi manage to find the goal of the 2-3 conquering Marassi and redeeming the heavy knockout with Roma of the previous round.
The’beginning of the match for Genoa è to shudder as Monza managed to place a deadly one-two within ten minutes. At 8’ Colpani backs up for Pessina who from a good position puts the Brianzoli ahead. Thanks to this success, the Brianzoli move up to 10th place in the standings with 39 points, while Genoa remains stuck at 33. On the next day, Monza will host Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari, while the Grifone will face Massimiliano Allegri’s Juventus away.
