Jorge Martin: “Tough race, but it was a great weekend.”
First Saturday in the sprint race, Ducati Pramac team centaur Jorge Martin è failed to repeat the victory Sunday in Qatar, in the first MotoGp Grand Prix of the season. The vice world champion finished in third place in a tight race, spent mainly fighting Brad Binder: "A really difficult race, I got a good start, but right from the start I had to manage the tire well. Bagnaia started to push right away but I showed that I had a fast pace. Definitely faster than the race a year ago. I controlled the bike not to run out of grip at the rear and things went well".
Martin in the finale seemed to have more than Binder but he didn’t è manage to take second place: "He also pushed hard and got the better of me even though I had almost closed the gap. I also tried overtaking but he è defended himself well".
Martin is content with third place and his weekend in Losail: "The balance è good. I scored a lot of points and è important. I won the Sprint Race and I am happy. Now head to the next race”.
