Juventus-Atalanta, the probable formations

Juventus and Atalanta meet in Turin at 6 p.m. Sunday in round 28 of Serie A. Heavy points are up for grabs at Allianz Stadium: the hosts must protect second place in the standings from the onslaught of Milan and others, while the guests don&#39t want to miss the Champions League train after picking up just one point in their last three league outings. But with the Europa League looming, turnover choices are not ruled out.

Juventus forced to a major absence at forward: Vlahovic è stopped for disqualification. For this reason, Massimiliano Allegri is expected to propose an offensive tandem composed of Milik and Chiesa, with Iling-Junior reviving on the flanks a few meters behind them. On the opposite lane Cambiaso, in the dense Bianconeri midfield McKennie returns with Locatelli and Miretti.

Gian Piero Gasperini should instead reintroduce a "heavy" trident respecting a formula already seen in the week against Sporting Lisbon. At the center of Atalanta's attack could be confirmed Scamacca after the good impressions shown in the Europa League, on his sides De Ketelaere and an advanced Pasalic (ready to switch positions if needed with Koopmeiners). Disqualified Holm, on the right Hateboer appears to be ahead of Bakker.

Probable lineups:

JUVENTUS (3-5-2): Szczesny, Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cambiaso, McKennie, Locatelli, Miretti, Iling-Junior; Milik, Chiesa. All. Allegri.
ATALANTA (3-4-3): Carnesecchi, Scalvini, Djimsiti, Kolasinac; Hateboer, Ederson, Koopmeiners, Zappacosta; De Ketelaere, Scamacca, Pasalic. All. Gasperini.
