The protagonists are the same, Poland’s Iga Swiatek and Greece’s Maria Sakkari, and the winner è always the same, the first of the two, the world’s No. 1 in world tennis, who wins for the second time in the women’s singles of the BNP Paribas Open on the California cement of Indian Wells.
In less than one’hour and ten mnutes the match è ended. In the first set Swiatek goes immediately to 3-0 with a break, Sakkari recovers at 3-3 but from 4-4 Iga does not concede any more games to the Greek and the second set è a massacre because è the Polish loses only five points in six games. For Swiatek è success number 19 in a WTA major circuit tournament, her second this year, her eighth WTA 1000.
