Juventus pinned down by Genoa (and by the posts): there’s also a red light for Vlahovic in the finale
Juventus-Genoa 0-0
Juventus, whose last victory remains that of last February 25 against Frosinone, just can’t get unblocked: in the lunch match on St. Patrick’s Day Sunday è Genoa to block the Bianconeri, with a 0-0 that confirms the complicated moment for Massimiliano Allegri’s men, who in the last eight games have obtained, in addition to the success against Frosinone, four draws including today’s and three defeats.
Very few emotions were reserved for the fans in the first half, which ended without any actions of particular note and, above all, with the booing of part of the home crowd, evidently displeased by what happened on the field in the first 45'. In the second half, the entry of Rabiot, Yildiz and Iling-Junior at 60' changes the pace a bit and it was the young Englishman who made himself very dangerous, hitting the post at 67'.
It wasn't the only woodwork hit by Juve in the match: on the stroke of 90', in fact, it was Moise Kean, who entered eight minutes earlier in place of Cambiaso) who saw a ball he kicked go off against the support of the goal defended by Martinez, to the despair of him, his teammates and the Juventus fans.
Despite their efforts, Juventus could not get past the Grifone defense, and in addition to that, they had to record the red card waved in Dusan Vlahovic's face in 95's: the Serbian man's vehement protests, having been cautioned shortly before, convinced referee Giua to remove him from the field. The expulsion had no particular effect, also because it came close to the triple whistle: Juventus-Genoa ended 0-0.
