The president of Fiorentina, Rocco Commisso, visibly moved, made some statements to the players of the purple club, gathered at the funeral chamber for Joe Barone, which è was set up at Viola Park.
"Barone left everything and his family to come here, we made a great sports center, Viola Park would not have been there without him,” he stressed. Joe worked all day and we talked constantly, at least twice a day. I can only thank the family for that. We also talked to each other on the day he è felt sick".
"Always remember him, he will always remain with you part of Fiorentina. Joe will never die, he will live forever inside our hearts" concluded Fiorentina’s president.
