Russia not playing after tragic attack
In Moscow you don’t play
The Russian Football Federation (RFS) announced Saturday that the friendly match between Russia and Paraguay, scheduled for Monday in Moscow, will not be held following the armed attack that took place in a concert hall in Krasnogorsk, a suburb of Moscow, claimed by the jihadist group Islamic State (ISIS) and left more than 60 dead.
The match, originally scheduled for Monday at 4 p.m. local time at Moscow’s Dinamo Stadium, could be rescheduled at a later date, according to the same source.
After the armed attack followed by a massive fire at the Crocus City Concert Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin immediately announced the cancellation of all public events in the Russian capital for the end week.
