Incredible but true. At the GP d'Australia, Ferrari dominates. The success goes to a resounding Sainz. Behind him comes Leclerc. A one-two for the Cavallino that smacks of magic. For once, Verstappen è obliged to watch others win and have fun. The three-time World Champion, after a few corners, è was forced to retire due to engine trouble. McLaren also smiles that Norris on the lowest step of the podium ahead of his teammate Piastri.

Heroic weekend for Sainz. Recovering from recent surgery (appendicitis), the Spaniard è was perfect in Melbourne. After doing better than Leclerc in qualifying, he took great advantage of Verstappen’s problems and è took home a fabulous success, undoubtedly more than deserved. Also smiling is Leclerc who, after three races, è second in the World Championship at -4 points from leader Verstappen.

Curiously, Verstappen è forced to retire on the very Melbourne circuit, just as he did in 2022, the last GP in which he raised the white flag due to technical problems. After 43 races always in the points and, most importantly, nine consecutive GP wins, the Red Bull star experienced a bad day that allowed others to party.
