Ferrari’s one-two punch in Australia must be a starting point

Red triumph in Melbourne. Also favored by Verstappen’s retirement, Ferrari placed its two single-seaters first and second in the Australian GP. A great satisfaction for all the fans of the Cavallino, especially for Vasseur, who enjoys the victory but definitely does not want to think of a Ferrari "now arrived". Already in Suzuka they will start from scratch.

"I would say we did very well this weekend, but eventually in Suzuka it will be a completely different situation and we will start from scratch. It doesnè t have to be like this every weekend, we have to keep pushing and developing with this approach without thinking that we have arrived or that è everything is done", his words after the GP reported by Sportmediaset.

Ferrari’s team principal comments thusì Verstappen’s retirement that probably gave the green light to Ferrari: "I don’t know and nobody knows if this one-two would have come without Verstappen’s retirement. If we make a comparison with Perez’s pace it seems manageable, but we cannot know and è a completely different situation. We have to enjoy what è happened".
