Samardzic-Napoli: Udinese president reveals a backstory
Franco Soldati, president of Udinese, gave an interview to Radio Goal, live on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, in which he talked about the negotiations that took place with Napoli regarding Lazar Samardzic. Initially, it seemed that the Udinese midfielder could have moved to Napoli during the winter session, but the deal did not materialize due to some disagreements with the player's entourage.
"Between Udinese and Napoli there’è a very good relationship – stressed the number one of the Friulani -. The managers talk to each other often, especially Pozzo and De Laurentiis. On’the’Samardzic deal there’was some misunderstanding, but not about the companies; as it happened with’Inter".
According to reports from 'Il Mattino', the Neapolitan club è also interested in Simone Pafundi, a young Azzurri talent on loan at Lausanne but owned by Udinese. "As for Pafundi, by now he is becoming the object of desire of many teams" admitted the patron of the Bianconeri club.
