Giro d’Abruzzo returns after 17 years: route unveiled
Abruzzo is preparing to once again host the Giro d'Abruzzo Crédit Agricole, which returns after 17 years, April 9-12, with four stages that promise tough challenges, accumulating more than 9500 meters of elevation gain. Cyclists will take on the mountainous route, which culminates with an uphill finish at Prati di Tivo, serving as a prelude to the Giro d'Italia. The event will be broadcast live daily on RaiSport HD and Eurosport.
The four stages of the Giro d'Abruzzo cross all the provinces of Abruzzo. The route begins in Vasto, in the province of Chieti and continues to Pescara, then from L'Aquila to Teramo, and finally returns to L'Aquila, where it will end, just before the city is celebrated as the Italian Capital of Culture 2026.
