Wout van Aert, bad fall and fractured collarbone
Through a note, Jumbo-Visma took stock of the condition of Wout van Aert, who fell disastrously at Dwars Door Vlaanderen: the two-wheel champion suffered several fractures after ending up on the ground.
"From the investigations carried out in the hospital è emerged the fracture of a collarbone and several ribs. It è not clear how long his recovery will take. He will certainly not beà among the protagonists at Tour of Flanders, Paris-Roubaix and Amstel Gold Race" you read.
"We wish Wout all the best and a speedy recovery!" they conclude from the yellow and black team’s control room. Jasper Stuyven (Lidl-Trek), who in turn ended up on the ground, è in turn sustained a fractured collarbone.
Sigh of relief, on the other hand, for Biniam Girmay (Intermarché – Wanty) who got away with a few bruises: the examinations to which he è underwent did not reveal any fracture.
