Jorge Lorenzo exposes himself on Pedro Acosta

Rookie Pedro Acosta è definitely the revelation of this early season in MotoGP. At his second race in the premier class with the KTM GAGAS Tech3 team, he took his first podium. In Portimao, the Moto3 champion in 2021 and Moto2 champion in 2023, rode without hesitation, pushing hard and maintaining control.

The Spanish centaur made impressive overtakes on Brad Binder, Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia, which also impressed the four-time world champion, Jorge Lorenzo, who on DAZN Spain expressed his enthusiasm.

"We know that you are a phenomenon – said the Majorcan to Acosta – you entertain us like children, you gave a great show, both in Qatar and in Portimao. You always keep us on edge with those overtakes. You made history (podium), enjoy it. I think you have tremendous potential. In Jerez you will get your first win".
