The Miami Heat surprised the Washington Wizards on their own turf, thanks to Terry Rozier.
The Toronto Raptors suffered a home loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, despite an excellent performance by Kelly Oubre Jr. The Los Angeles Clippers snatched an important win on the road against the Charlotte Hornets, led by Paul George. The Los Angeles Lakers overcame the Brooklyn Nets thanks to LeBron James (still 40 points at almost 40 years old) and Anthony Davis.
The Golden State Warriors won against the San Antonio Spurs, with a great performance by Steph Curry. The Chicago Bulls defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves, despite good performances by Rudy Gobert and Anthony Edwards. The Dallas Mavericks won the Texas derby against the Houston Rockets, thanks to an outstanding performance by Luka Doncic (47 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists). The Oklahoma City Thunder won on the road against the New York Knicks, thanks to a triple-double by Josh Giddey. Finally, the Sacramento Kings dominated against the Utah Jazz, with a great showing from De'Aaron Fox and Keegan Murray.
