Schudetto semifinal kicks off

Another Scudetto Semifinal Series kicks off for Marco Gaspari’s Allianz Vero Volley Milano the fifth overall and consecutive in its history in Women’s A1 Series, expected tomorrow, Saturday, April 6, at 8:30 p.m. (live coverage by Rai Sport, Sky Sport and volleyballworld.tv), from Savino Del Bene Scandicci, at Palazzo Wanny in Florence, for Game 1. It will be played, as in the Quarterfinals, where Orro and her teammates eliminated Pinerolo, at the best of three games, with the pink ladies then hosting the Tuscans on Wednesday evening at’Allianz Cloud. Over the course of the season, Scandicci è has been an opponent that has forced the Milanese to the tie-break on two occasions, on the third day of the Championship in Milan and in the Italian Cup Semifinals in Trieste, with Barbolini’s team defeated on both occasions. Net, however, the success obtained by the meneghine in the return round of Serie A1 Tigotà, in which Milan s’imposed 0-3 on the Tuscan mondoflex.

Determination, qualityà, choralityà of play: Milan will try to restart from these aspects to try to steer the Series against Savino Del Bene immediately on the right tracks and then take advantage of the first home match point to fly, for the third season in a row, to the tricolor Final. With the broadsides of Egonu (MVP of the match won last Sunday against Pinerolo and Milan’s top scorer so far), the central accelerations of Folie, Rettke and Heyrman (the former and the latter also effective at the wall and at bat), those from nine meters of Cazaute and the defenses of Castillo, the first women’s team of Consorzio Vero Volley will try to bring home an important smile, taking advantage of the positive results obtained against the Tuscans in the last three previous matches, which always saw them win.

Also fascinating is the comparison Paola Egonu, “best striker” of the regular season with an impressive 545 points scored, and Antropova, second in the special ranking with 498 balls put on the ground.
