The Blue declines, with elegance, the proposal to be the flag bearer at the 2024 Olympics

Focused on tennis, nothing else on his mind. And, when he has to make a decision that does not concern the court, he carefully weighs all options before making his choice, which è always final, without appeal. He has also done so regarding the concrete possibility of being a flag-bearer at the next Olympics scheduled to take place in Paris. He will be present but will leave the prestigious post to those who truly deserve it.

"In my opinion è it is right for those who have already won a gold medal to do so, for me it will be the first time at the Games. I feel I and others have contributed to the growth of our tennis, but there are athletes who have built their careers on the Olympics, and they work four years for a competition. Having said that, if they ask me to do it, I will be  very pleased", his clear words to the Press that, in fact, are a "no, thank you" to those who had thought of him as the Italian flag-bearer in Paris.

Be that as it may, Jannik Sinner at the Olympics will be there but as an athlete and, whyè no, as a sports lover: "Which competitions will he go to see at the Olympics? I don&#39t know yet, let&#39s see. Definitely athletics. And I really like the idea of being able to meet athletes from many disciplines, to compare myself with them", the Italian outfielder&#39s closing remark, now focused exclusively on the Monte Carlo tournament where he hopes to continue to do well as in the last tournaments he took part in.
