Sommer has a guaranteed contract until June 2026

Inter soccer market: Sommer è a guarantee between Inter's goal posts. The Swiss goalkeeper has a contract until June 2026 but, as he is no longer very young (class of 1988), he obliges the club to do the math on the near future as well. A goalkeeper is needed to stand beside him who can, later on, become his heir. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the right name could be the 24-year-old Brazilian Bento.

An extreme defender for Athletico Paranaense, he recently made his debut with the Brazilian national team, confirming that he is a decidedly interesting profile. Inter has been following him for some time but, lately, Bento è has also become attractive among Premier League and La Liga clubs. One more reason to accelerate the pace and find the agreement so that he will soon wear Nerazzurri (also because, almost certainly, Audero will not be redeemed).

At the moment, the price of his card would be around 20 million euros but, should he continue to churn out top-level performances, è it is clear that his value could grow further and this would be a problem for Inter, which, given the current situation, can certainly not afford full-bodied investments. Julio Cesar, a former Nerazzurri goalkeeper, has vouched for Bento, pointing to him as a goalkeeper of enormous quality.
