Not just Juventus: another Serie A big name has Mateo Retegui in its sights
Napoli on Mateo Retegui
Sirens from Serie A for Mateo Retegui. After the interest from Juventus, according to a report by "Il Corriere dello Sport", the Italian-Argentinian player of Genoa would also end up in the sights of Napoli, which will be called to revolutionize the next offensive department, complicit in the probable farewells at the end of the season of Victor Osimhen and Giovanni Simeone.
The Rossoblù striker, in fact, would be included among the papabili candidates to become the next striker of the Campania club, given also the decidedly more affordable cost compared to other profiles followed by the azurra society.
Retegui è landed in Liguria last summer for 15 million euros, and the club would be willing to consider his transfer in the summer only for a sum significantly lower than the 50 million euros demanded for the various Jonathan David, Santiago Gimenez and Georgiy Sudakov.
Much of Napoli’s market strategy, however, will depend on the club’s future coach, where, in recent days, the hottest name would be that of Stefano Pioli, who will leave AC Milan at the end of the season.
