Giovanni Caprara explains why he chose UYBA

First words as UYBA coach for Giovanni Caprara

UYBA Volleyball presented on Saturday its new coach, Giovanni Caprara: "I am highly motivated and honored to arrive in Busto Arsizio to propose my volleyball in a sports hall that I love" are the first words of the 61-year-old coach, who returns to Italy after his experience in Romania with Targoviste.

The goals of Caprara, who spoke to the official channels of the new club, are clear: "To give strength to the technical project: to work hard, every day, in the gym; to contribute to the constant individual growth of each player, to benefit then at the team level. There’è a path to complete, it will take patience, but I am certainly not backing down".

The coach also explained the reasons related to the decision to accept the challenge proposed by the Busto Arsizio club: "I received several proposals, but when Carmelo Borruto called me, I had no doubts. I have known him for many years and with him I have always 'talked' the same volleyball. In agreement with the company; we have set up an interesting team. In the coming days he will arrive in Busto for the first contact with staff members and players. I am sure that we will lay the foundations for living together a satisfying season".

Last words dedicated to the E-work Arena, home of the Butterflies: "A sports hall that I love assuring you that it is not è a catch phrase. I have always said, even when I arrived as an opponent, that a unique atmosphere is created in that sports hall. Atmosphere that will have toà be one of our strengths".
