Jannik Sinner will be there in Rome? His words

Jannik Sinner withdraws from Madrid and has his fans anxious. The Italian champion è was forced to withdraw due to a hip problem, and will not play in the quarterfinals against Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime. At a press conference, the South Tyrolean tennis player explained that the problem dates back to gym work done in recent weeks, and that he followed the advice of doctors to avoid making it worse.

Sinner had reiterated several times at the beginning of the Madrid tournament that he would use the competition at the Caja Magica as "training" on clay in view of the real goals of the season: the Internazionali d'Italia, Roland Garros and then the Olympics. 

The tournament at the Foro Italico kicks off May 6.The tests in the coming days will be decisive for Jannik, who hopes not to forfeit the competition in the capital.
