Crossbar and Skorupski save Bologna: 0-0 draw with Torino
Torino-Bologna 0-0
The 35th day of Serie A opens with a scoreless draw. Torino and Bologna, in fact, do not go beyond 0-0 at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino. Partial redemption for the granata after the defeat at San Siro with Inter, while the rossoblù run into the second consecutive draw after the home one with Udinese (1-1).
Toro got off to a better start and on 17' had a resounding double chance to take the lead: Ilic crossed to the first post for Sanabria who hit the crossbar with his header, on the rebound Zapata ventured and kicked with a sure shot but Skorupski saved miraculously. On 28' the Granata lose Vlasic to injury: in his place comes Linetty. Ten minutes later, Bologna went close to scoring with Aebischer who fired a left-footed shot from the edge of the area that grazed the post.
In the second half at 60' è again Aebischer made himself dangerous with a right-footer from long distance but Milinkovic-Savic was ready. Seven minutes later Skorupski saved the Felsinians again on a left-footed shot from inside the area by Ilic. Thiago Motta plays the Odgaard and Orsolini cards, Juric launches Pellegri but the result does not change.
Torino and Bologna thus have to settle for a draw that does not move their standings: the granata remain stuck in 10th place, on 47 points, while the felsinei remain in fourth place, on 64 points, +5 on Roma, engaged in Sunday night’s postponement against Juventus.
