George Russell opens the door for Max Verstappen and exposes himself on Kimi Antonelli

Speaking to the microphones of the various media just hours before the start of the Miami GP weekend, Mercedes driver George Russell, among other topics, spoke out on the possible landing of Max Verstappen at the Brackley stable. In addition, the former Williams driver è expounded on the future of promising young driver Kimi Antonelli.

"I think joining Mercedes in 2022 was a step backward from Lewis’ legendary years and his victories. I believe in myself and you have to compare yourself with the best with the same car and show your true value. I believe that Hamilton in the last three years has been an extraordinary teammate. He's a great driver and we push each other every week. Regarding Max, I want to compare myself with the best and show my ability, so welcome it if he comes to Mercedes" began the British driver.

"I heard that Kimi is doing a good job. Of course when you drive yourself è it is always difficult to have a reference. For him it is just a matter of gaining the necessary experience. There is no doubt that sooner or later he will become a Mercedes driver, but time will tell. He's a very good driver, he won everything in his junior career, so there's no reason not to see him in Formula 1" added George Russell.
