A good Saturday, with the hope that it will precede an excellent Sunday.

Ferrari optimistic in Miami: Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz took second and third place behind "usual" poleman Max Verstappen, remitting forò only 141 and 214 thousandths of a second from the Red Bull Dutchman. And after the good sensations also collected during the Sprint Race, the hope è now to be able to contend with him for victory in Sunday Grand Prix as well.

"We were very close until the end, when we tried to push to take that last tenth or two tenths that we were missing – è was Leclerc's analysis of his qualification -. This made us a little bit lose the tires in the last two sectors, due to a little too much overheating. È that we lost the pole position. The race, forò, è tomorrow and already during the Sprint Race we saw that the pace è good. And so I hope that tomorrow we can put some more pressure on Verstappen".

Leclerc è then dwelt on the Sprint Race, which ended not far behind a Verstappen who had also attacked at the start: "I want to try again tomorrow, or at least stay in the DRS zone if the overtake doesn’t come in the first corner. Here in Miami the DRS è very powerful, but if we lose Verstappen already on the first lap then it becomes very complicated to get back into the DRS zone. But first of all there'è the start, at the Sprint Race we did it well and tomorrow we will tryò to do it even better".

Also positive was Carlos Sainz, who, on the other hand, was back from a less than perfect Sprint Race: "I knew that the pace of the Ferrari was good, and that with a clean qualifying I could have been in the top three. We managed to do the clean laps we wanted, which was very complicated here in Miami since warming up the new softs è a feat. When you finish a lap you always realize that it&#39s not perfect, because there's always at least one spot where you slip. And starting third, on the clean side of the track, è an advantage".
