Musetti and Berrettini aim to surprise at Internazionali d'Italia

Sinner’s decision to forfeit the Internazionali d'Italia è was a blow to the many Italian tennis fans who had been looking forward to enjoying the world No. 2 in action in Rome. Much disappointment, both from Sinner himself and the many fans who had already made appointments at the Foro Italico.

However, Sinner's absence could be a great opportunity for all the other Azzurri who, instead, will be in Rome. Starting with Musetti, who, after the excellent tournament in Sardinia, has regained a lot of morale and is ready to impress at the Internazionali d'Italia.

Also watch out for Berrettini. The Wimbledon finalist has been missing from the Internazionali d'Italia since 2021, that is, since his magical year. Ideally, he would like to do well at the Foro Italico precisely to give continuity to his attempt to return to play at a high level on the circuit.

Also aiming to make their mark are Sonego and Arnaldi, two other heroes of the last Davis Cup. Both will be much pampered by the Roman public. Finally, not to forget Cobolli who, thanks to his career best ranking (number 57 in the world), will be in the main draw of the tournament. In short, there won&#39t be Sinner but there are several Italians who dream of shining at the Foro Italico. It should be remembered that the last Italian to win the Internazionali d'Italia è was Panatta back in 1976.
