F1, Ferrari: Frederic Vasseur takes stock of the updates issue
Frederic Vasseur already looks at Imola
Archived with the third place of Charles Leclerc and the fifth place of Carlos Sainz (after the penalty of 5" imposed for the contact with Piastri) in the F1 Grand Prix in Miami, Frederic Vasseur is already thinking about the next race weekend, which will culminate with the Grand Prix of Made in Italy and Emilia-Romagna on Sunday, May 19, on the circuit dedicated to Enzo and Dino Ferrari.
An important appointment not only becauseé it will be the home race, but also becauseé the Rossa could put important updates on the track. Vasseur, in front of reporters in Miami, took stock precisely of the upgrade situation: "We are developing the parts, as soon as we are ready we will send them to production, said the French engineer. Having the circuit close to the factory helps, but the development è independent of whether it came to the home race".
Vasseur himself urges però not to interpret as "miraculous" the upcoming changes: "Other teams have brought updates before, not è changed that much. The group è basically compact, the differences are minimal. It improves, sì but without making huge jumps".
"We don’t have to think only about upgrades,‖ said the Ferrari team boss again.
It is decisive the work the drivers will do on the track, the grip of the tires, the tuning of the car. The improvement comes with the work of everyone, we are confident for the next races".
